Description

Did you know that you are nearly 10 times more likely to suffer a debilitating injury away from work than you are while at work? The injury causes are the same as in the workplace—electric shock, falls, chemical exposure and others. Even though we have been trained to recognize these hazards, why do we think about safety differently when not at work? We do not do our employer or our family any favors being injured by something that is completely preventable. In this session, we will look at leading causes of off-the-job injuries, human behavior, and tactics you and your employer can use to help build a 24/7 safety mindset.
