Description

TLN is excited to announce this first webinar in our Snow & Ice Control Webinar Series! This presentation will share the different types of hydraulic controls that are commonly found in snow plow trucks and equipment. We will discuss the basic functionality of these controls along with best practices in configuration. We will also discuss the best practices for calibration, troubleshooting and diagnostics of these systems.

We will have two presenters for this session: 1) Force America representative to discuss the basics of the system and 2) NDDOT Shop Supervisor to discuss some common faults, troubleshooting and maintenance recommendations of these systems.

Speaker(s)

Bjorn Kleven, Force America Field Representative. Bjorn has nearly 30 years of experience with snow and ice control systems and operations. Bjorn represents Force America in the midwest region.

Mike Watson, NDDOT Bismarck District Shop Supervisor. Mike currently serves as the shop supervisor for the Bismarck District. Mike is also a trainer at the NDDOT Equipment Operators Academy, where he trains on equipment maintenance, snow and ice controls and calibration best practices.

Target Audience

This presentation will best serve employees who operate snowplow trucks and equipment. This presentation will also benefit shop personnel on the broad overview and refresher on these systems.
