Sam Slagle, Quality Control Supervisor, Knife River Corporation. Sam currently leads Knife River's South Dakota RMX Quality team in Sioux Falls updating concrete mix designs, performing trial batches, providing technical support, and managing in-house testing services. Sam has worked in the construction and concrete industry for over fifteen years. His background includes experience in ready mix concrete, heavy highway pavements, and lab batched research in the concrete field. He has worked with various agencies in Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, and South Dakota regarding concrete mix designs. Sam played an integral role in the successful completion of the I-29 project in Sioux City, IA by performing concrete Quality Control during concrete production at the batch plant.
